Bathroom Remodeling

Imagine spending the price of a new car on a new bathroom and it looks great.  The only problem is every time you take a shower it leaks downstairs. You call back the company who did the work and they won't return your call.    We have seen this scenario a bunch of times and it is heartbreaking.  The simple solution, hire the right company from the start!

The big secret about bathroom remodeling is that the work you don't see is just as important as the work you do see.   Are the drain lines pitched correctly?  Was old plumbing or electric left when it should have been replaced?   Is everything waterproofed correctly?

Bathroom Remodeling requires a lot of skill and one of the hardest renovations in the business.  You need to be proficient at demolition, carpentry, plumbing, electric, drywall and tile skills to complete a bathroom renovation.   Throw in design skills to make sure your bathroom is functional as well as beautiful and the list of possible contractors gets smaller really fast.   We are aware our bathrooms look different, we are setting trends not following them!  Cobblepot Services is up to the challenge of designing a space that is functional and beautiful that you will enjoy for years to come!

Large and Modern

Natural light flows in abundance as you walk in to this almost 200 square foot bathroom.  An Ultra modern floating double vanity with additional storage cabinet provide storage and functionality with an ultra modern feel.   A Soaking tub and 6' shower (that part was too big to photograph) provide luxury bathing experience fit for a king.  Concrete floor tiles and black shower provide an amazing contrast and continue with the modern feel. This is one of our biggest and favorite bathroom remodels to date.

Tons of Personality

This renovation was from one of our city renovations.  As with a a lot of city homes, the old fashioned skylight above the shower brings in natural light.  We selected light marble subway tile specifically to let the natural light reflect thoughtout the bathroom.   Because there was some hidden space we found behind the shower, we turned that into a niche  to make the bath/shower combination feel bigger.   We added a light to this shower to help make night showers a little brighter.  A simple white shaker with marble top was selected for it's timeless appearance.  Lastly, a blue shiplap was installed to add texture and  a splash of color making this custom bathroom.

Simple and Clean

We love simplicity and this bathroom has it in abundance.   Your standard 5 x 7 format with tub, white shaker vanity and toilet cram a lot of function into a small space.   White marble 20x24 tiles were added to the walls to reflect natural light.   Pies were added to the tub/shower combination for additional storage of soaps and shampoo.   Lastly, black fixtures were added to give a timeless appearance and accent to the white fixtures and ultra white walls.

Master Baths Don't need to be huge!

Frequently home builders and contractors build bathrooms that are spacious and that is great but what happens when you have a standard 5x7 space and you want personality and function?  We started with white pencil tiles and ran them vertically in the shower and continued them behind the vanity and toilet.  This adds depth and flow by not sectioning off the shower from the rest of the bathroom.  Because the tiles are small and vertical this makes the bathroom look bigger and taller.      Black tiles were added to the floor to contrast the white tile and unltra white walls.   We added a modern vanity with wood tones for adding warmth.  Lastly we added frameless glass versus framed glass sliders to make the shower part of the bathroom rather than separating it.  This is definitely one our best designed spaces we have done to date!

A Classic Redesign

This client had a really small master bathroom that included a single vanity and 28" shower that was really cramped and dark.  As if this design this wasn't bad enough the shower leaked every time they used it and they were forced to use share their kid's bathroom.

The first challenge was to make the bathroom bigger.    We were able to steal space from a closet that was bigger than it needed to be.  We redesigned that closet to be more efficient with shelves and custom storage.  When we were done, the home owner was able store more stuff in a smaller space.  With this additional space we went right to work and were able to incorporate a double vanity and standard 5' shower.

For finishes they selected long tiles for the floor to give an appearance of depth and natural pebbles for their shower floor.  Larger white subway tiles were added to give brightness and a timeless look.  Semi frameless doors were selected to reduce cost over true frameless doors.   A double vanity was added with a marble top that added functionality.  When finished we hit the goal perfectly, a great master bath and an efficient use of storage.
